Evaluation

Typically an amorphous polymer, PA6/3T exhibits a glass transition with a midpoint temperature of 142°C (1st heating, blue, midpoint) and 147°C (2nd heating, green, midpoint) which was overlapped by a relaxation peak in the 2nd heating. The step heights (Δcp) of this example were approx. 0.39 J/(g.K) (mean value of both heatings).
